Critical thinking: Sociology requires critical thinking and the ability to analyze ideas, concepts, and phenomena in a logical and scientific way.
Research and analysis: Sociology requires the ability to conduct research and studies and analyze data accurately.
Communication: Sociology requires the ability to communicate with different segments of society, understand their needs and opinions.
Management and planning: Sociology requires the ability to manage and plan social projects and programs.
Problem-solving skills: Sociology requires the ability to deal with various problems facing society.

  • The English language bachelor’s degree program teaches students translation, editing, and communication skills in English. It develops reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in English. This program aims to prepare students to work in various fields such as translation, teaching, journalism, marketing and others. They learn how to translate in various fields of knowledge in both Arabic and English languages .

The ability to analyze geographic data: The holder of a bachelor’s degree in geography learns how to collect and analyze geographic data using tools such as geographic information systems (GIS) and remote sensing (RS).

  • The ability to create maps: The holder of a bachelor’s degree in geography learns how to create maps using tools such as GIS and mapping software.
  • The ability to understand climate and environmental changes: The holder of a bachelor’s degree in geography learns how to understand climate and environmental changes and their impact on the earth and humans.
  • The ability to locate: The holder of a bachelor’s degree in geography learns how to locate using tools such as GPS and GIS.
  • The ability to think spatially: The holder of a bachelor’s degree in geography learns how to think spatially and understand how place affects events and phenomena.
  • The ability to communicate effectively: The holder of a bachelor’s degree in geography learns how to communicate effectively with different segments of society, including engineers and the public.
  • The ability to manage projects: The holder of a bachelor’s degree in geography learns how to manage projects and organize them effectively.

 History is a science that studies the events and facts that happened in the past, and depends on time and human. History has a great importance in our lives because it:

  • Reveals the ancient world and human experiences in it, and helps us avoid the mistakes that led to destruction and ruin.
  • Provides us with lessons and lessons that benefit us in planning for the future, and analyzing the challenges of the present based on past events.
  • Preserves the heritage of civilizations and nations, and introduces us to the characteristics of peoples and their way of thinking, policies and goals.
  • Presents live models of successful people in various fields, such as prophets, messengers, scientists, philosophers, artists, wise men, and others, and encourages us to follow them.
  • Contributes to consolidating national unity, national awareness, pride in our history, and struggle against hostile forces to the state.
  • It is used in some government or private jobs that require historical knowledge, such as education, media, communication, politics, diplomacy, tourism, etc.

The Arabic language teaching programs include a set of skills that students learn during their studies. These skills include:

  • Understanding literary, critical and linguistic texts.
  • Analyzing literary, critical and linguistic texts.
  • Writing literary, critical and linguistic texts.
  • Editing literary, critical and linguistic texts.

Admission Requirements

STUDENT AND GRADUATES AFFAIRS REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS CHECKLIST

To register for the regular or evening study program, you will need to provide the following documents on a CD:

Two color copies of your and your parents’ IDs
Six recent photos of yourself
A letter of sponsorship from your employer (confirming your current employment status or job title)
Your middle school certificate, certified by the Directorate of Education, and three color copies of it
A medical examination report
In addition, if you are applying for the evening study program, you will also need to:

Submit a check for the tuition fees.
To obtain your graduation document, you will need to provide the following documents:

A recent photo of yourself with a white background
A copy of your civil status ID
A copy of your passport (if you need a translated document)
